Attending #866867: A doctor at Seattle Main Hospital that has completed residency in their field of choice. They are the experts in this field and lead groups of residents and interns. They are the primary surgeons during surgery and their responsibility is to teach residents and interns. Attendings can choose to focus in neuro, orthopedics, cardiothoracics, pediatrics, general surgery, trauma, oncology, or psych.

Resident #a17d7b: Residency is a crucial five years for doctors. This is the time where residents will pick a specialty and work under the attending for that area. Residents are expected to scrub in on more surgeries than they ever did as an intern and those who are lucky enough will be able to perform their first solo surgery early on. As a fifth year resident, studying for boards to become a board certified doctor and picking a fellowship are two important aspects to becoming an attending.

Intern #b38b89: These people are at the bottom of the food chain. They are fresh out of med school with a medical degree under their belt but have little to no hands on experience. They typically perform the dirty work and are found hunting for cases to scrub in on. A group of five interns will be placed under the supervision of one resident. After a year, interns must past their intern exams in order to become a resident or fear repeating their internship.

Nurse #c19694: Seattle Main Hospital takes pride in their patient care thanks to nurses. They take whatever the doctors and patients throw at them. They work long hours with heavy work loads. Nurses will often sit in on surgeries to prep patients. Under appreciated and overworked, nurses keep the hospital running smoothly.

Med Student #d4a4a2: At Northwestern Medical School, med students are getting the best education money has to offer. They are studying their butts off in hopes of landing an internship at one of the best hospitals in the country. Northwestern is an expensive school but does provide scholarships.

Patient #fcc0be: There are several types of patients at Seattle Main Hospital. There are emergency room patients that somehow managed to fall off the side of the mountain while hiking and will have to undergo several surgeries. There are also terminal patients. These are patients with life threatening illnesses that spend most of their days in a hospital room.

Citizen #c14a45: Residents of Seattle, Washington live life day by day going to work or school. They enjoy seeing all that Seattle has to offer and partaking in all the activities. Citizens typically don't worry about the dangerous aspects of life but a disaster were to happen, their lives would be in the hands of some of the best doctors in the world.

Tourist #fa726d: A tourist is a temporary resident of Seattle. They are in the big city because they would love to see all the beautiful landmarks and enjoy the culture of Washington. Another reason one may be a tourist is because a loved one is deathly ill and in Seattle Main Hospital for treatment.
