nellie here is a relative greenhorn, having only been in seattle for about a year now. she grew up in the bronx (actually half-spanish and speaks it as a native tongue) and has an accent to show for it, and she's adjusted pretty well to living in the west. most noticeable thing about her may just be her humor, considering she's got a joke for everything and likes to keep the mood light at all times. she's open and warm and always has time for everyone (and if she doesn't, she makes time.) she's also got a past that can get the best of her, so she's not always at her best. in all, she's very passionate and energetic.

friends will likely be in abundance. she's extroverted and absolutely thrives on companionship, and she tends to be physically affectionate as well. luckily, she knows how to adjust to other people so as not to make them uncomfortable. despite being relatively flighty in general, she is a very dependable person and she's got a lot of love to give. needs people to look out for her, even though she's always assuring people that she's all right and whatnot. her favorite hobbies are building forts and watching movies in them and general child activities.

enemies since she avoids conflict, she wouldn't have many active enemies. she is unerringly polite to even people she dislikes and lives by "kill them with kindness." one of the only ways to get on her bad side is to wish ill upon someone else, and in those cases she can be rather biting and sarcastic. that being said, she is a very forgiving person and a believer of second chances. there will definitely be people who dislike her whether for personality or maybe a bad encounter. she also has a few toxic relationships because she's not one to cut ties.

lovers despite her whole innocent aura, she's not exactly shy and gets around. she's prone to one-night stands and friends with benefits, but relationships are a tough spot. her ex was pretty emotionally manipulative and she's kind of hung up on him still, but if she does develop romantic feelings for someone else...yeah, it'll be fun in a totally horrible way. in any case, she loves affection and is a very sexual being, so there's that.

other sooo she will need patients, of course, and general interactions. also, she has a roommate that's wide open so if anyone's interested let me know. i've got a few plot ideas in mind in that area. honestly, i'd love any kind of plot so hmu!

vince- hmm could see something happen between the two of them. who knows with him, he is all over the place with feelings and all that. Friends casual relations who knows haha. He is really laid back and calm, but also has his wild side when parties are around and such.

kat- might find her interesting, and try and shadow her, maybe look at her in a way of a older friend she looks up to.

vince i think nell would definitely like him, especially considering he works with children and that's just a++ to her. she has a party side, it just takes someone to take her out, so she would probs tag along if he went barhopping or whatnot. and casual relations may just happen, but we could thread to see how they interact~

kat awwww nell thinks she's a cutie. i imagine her being like "i sense a disturbance in the force" and just see kat standing idly by. :| but yes, she'd definitely talk to her and ask her about school and tell her er stories.

Oooh he'd definitely enjoy her endless jokes and such since he's so bad at them. He tends to be a bit more introverted, though, so if she was his friend then she'd have to drag him out to most social events. xD Other than that I could see them being friends. He's also good friends with Vince, so if anything they at least have a mutual friend and could meet at Vince's house.

Kat and Nell must be friends! She is such a wonderful character and easily lovable! Mkay so I can see Nell being both Kat's friend and her nurse, someone who would be there for her and let her vent about how much she thinks life isn't fair. That she dreams of seeing the world and having a chance at a life. Kat would always be there for Nell, whether she needed someone to come pick her up from the bar while she's drunk or she had a horrible one night stand that ended badly. Thoughts?

cas cas is a qt. nell thinks so too and wouldn't mind his introvertedness a bit and would try to adapt to him and figure out when's the right time to bug him and when's not (and take him out drinking possibly at a pick up bar to get him laid). and i think having them meet through vince would be a+ considering that means they'd have the same circle. and we can get him involved in shenanigans to.

kat yoooo nell loves her already, ok. they probs met through the hospital when kat's having one of her visits and it won't take long before she can get nell to like get any food for her or w/e. nell would hear her out and end up sympathizing quite a bit because her mother socially isolated her for years. and yes, kat will end up dealing with nell's drunk spanglish texts at like 2 am and nell will apologize profusely the next day and make her breakfast. i just see a tight friendship happening here, probs even besties <333

Hurrah for besties! I don't think Kat would mind Nell's drunk Spanish texts. Maybe eventually Nell will take Kat with her to the bar when she finds out that Alcohol and Boys have been completely absent from Kat's life. Would you like to start a thread for them? But I believe these two are going to be very good for one another
